Business Sales
Our Four-Step Plan
Step 1. Interview
Step 2. Analysis
Step 3. Marketing Plan
Step 4. Communication
Step 1.
Interview
We know you have put a
lot of blood, sweat, and tears into your business. For many of our
clients, their business is almost like a child, with so much effort
having been put into creating a living, growing, breathing
business. We know it’s important to you to get the best value when
you sell your business. This is why our comprehensive interview
with you is so vital to the process of the sale. We need to know
everything we can possibly know about your business: the clientele,
the ups and downs, the employees, the challenges, and the sales and
profitability. This is where our business and financial expertise
really will give you the advantage over the competition.
Step
2. Analysis
In our analysis phase,
we take all of the information gathered in the Interview process,
compare this information to other similar businesses in the area,
market, and profession, and determine the appropriate value of the
business. This analysis is a major part of the process, as
assigning the correct price for the business is a monumental part of
the marketing. With a price too high, many people will not even
look at the opportunity to own your business, and with a price too
low, we will only be hurting our seller clients.
Step 3.
Marketing Plan
Gaining exposure for the
business will be our utmost priority in the formulation of the
marketing plan. Evaluating the best avenues to advertise the sale
of the business will be crucial to gaining the attention of not just
any buyer, but the correct buyer for you. One the plan is created
and implemented, we monitor the plan for results, and report the
results to you. The marketing plan is like a business in itself, as
it is a living, breathing thing that may need alterations or changes
as we go if we are not getting the results that we need. Coming
together on a regular basis for evaluation of our efforts is
instrumental to the ultimate goal.
Step 4.
Communication!
(The most important step.)
During whatever phase of
the sale we are in, communication will take place between us and our
clients. Too many times, brokers neglect to offer an avenue of
communication. We believe that communication is vital to every
transaction. Our clients are informed every step of the way once we
are chosen as their REALTORS®.
We pledge to communicate with our clients…
With Good News, With Bad News, & With No News.
